Customized Lessons

During each session, the learning objectives will be based on your child's needs. Whether it means going back to basics or providing enrichment activities, I will design lessons based on what your child is ready to learn.

Differentiated Instruction

Because all children are unique, lessons will be created to reflect your child's interests and learning style. I provide a multi-sensory experience using various hands-on activities. Incorporating fun activities such as Legos, art, music, and blocks keeps students engaged so that they forget they are learning!

Get to Know Me

My Background

I have been a licensed teacher in New Jersey and New York for over 18 years. I hold a Master's Degree in Language Arts Education, and my experience includes teaching students of varying age and ability. I have taught honors, bilingual, and special needs students throughout my career.

My professional achievements include receiving the Teacher of the Year Award and supervising a nationally recognized weekly student newspaper.

Writing poetry is my passion, and I have been published in The Heron's Nest, Modern Haiku, Presence, Asahi Haikuist Network, and Mothers Always Write. I also published a feature education article in Rutgers Magazine

As a mother of identical twin boys, I know the importance of creating a strong educational foundation based on structure and fun. I work hard to engage young children and speak to them in a way that makes the topic relevant and easy to understand.

I am dedicated, patient, understanding, and reliable. My enthusiasm for teaching is shown in everything I do from planning exciting lessons to celebrating children's successes. Together, we can help your child excel!
